JR名古屋駅(JR在来線６番線ホーム）から名鉄電車に最短ルートで乗り換えようとしたとき、（米原・大阪方面を進行方向として）最後尾の車両に近い出口から階段を降りていくことからスタートします。階段を降りきると左折し、直進します。

すると、前方からエスカレーターと階段が見えてくるので、それを目印に、斜め前方向（広小路口方向）に進み、ＪＲ広小路口改札を出ます。

ＪＲ広小路口改札を出たらすぐ左折します。一旦、屋外に出て、名鉄百貨店を前方に見ながら横断歩道を渡ると、「名鉄線↘」と記された案内板があるので、地下に降りていくと、名鉄名古屋駅（西改札口）に到着します。所要時間は約３分でした。

When trying to transfer to the Meitetsu train from JR Nagoya Station (JR conventional line No. 6 platform) by the shortest route, go down the stairs from the exit near the last vehicle (in the direction of Maibara / Osaka). Start. When you get off the stairs, turn left and go straight.

Then, you will see the escalator and stairs from the front. Using this as a guide, proceed diagonally forward (toward the Hirokoji exit) and exit the JR Hirokoji exit ticket gate.

Turn left as soon as you exit the JR Hirokoji Exit ticket gate. Once you go outdoors and cross the pedestrian crossing while looking forward at the Meitetsu Department Store, there is a sign that says "Meitetsu Line ↘", so when you go underground, you will find Meitetsu Nagoya Station (West Wicket).
